Loud Love: Seasons Greetings
by Drew Wilson on Dec 22nd, 2011

Drew Wilson, formerly the man behind the curtain of WRVU’S “Loud Love” Show, is a punk rock connoisseur from New York City and one of the last of a generation who can say they grew up going to CBGB's. He moved to Nashville to get into radio and found a spot at the Vanderbilt station in 2008, where he put his training to use and took over the waves of Music City with the only punk rock show on the radio at the time. Now, in 2011, he's still playing the best of new and old punk, hardcore, and garage rock, and he's a fixture at the local shows as well as booking and promoting local bands, and keeping the volume turned to loud.
The holiday season is always a favorite, but it’s also extremely busy. As we take a short hiatus for the holidays from new blog posts at Loud Love, we still wanted to make sure we’re giving you all something for the season. And what’s better than 15 tracks of solid rocking Christmas songs to kick those same old ones you’ve been hearing in the mall since Halloween straight out of your head! None of those here, this is a punk rockin’ Christmas right here at Sinizine.net!
Back in the days when we hosted Nashville’s punk rock show on FM Radio, one of the most fun things was creating specialized holiday playlists.
Not just any boring holiday albums but a themed playlist of favorites from the Loud Love archives. We really enjoyed bringing that back here at www.sinizine.net and are continuing right along with a mix of the greatest punk rock & garage Christmas songs anywhere. Some you might recognize, some are a little stranger. Some will make you feel jolly, others …not so much. But every track on here is a true Christmas rocker, so hit play, and turn it up Loud!
