Ryan Rado, vocalist for Worker, has wrestled with Tourette syndrome (TS) and Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) since the age of six.  Along the way, he’s managed marriage, fought weight issues and created music like — to steal one of his favorite words — a champion.

Now, Ryan is beginning a treatment called Neuro-Training and, along with Ethan Luck — drummer with OC Supertones and Reliant K and friend of Ryan’s for more than a decade — he is documenting his history and journey in a film series called “My Quest for Peace of Mind.”  A trailer and the first installment of the series have been produced and are available at ryanrado.wordpress.com and streamed below:

Part of the mission of this documentary is help Ryan afford the the relatively new Neuro-Training process because it is not covered by health insurance.  You can donate and learn more about TS, OCD and Neuro-Training, as well as healthy foods (Ryan also works at Whole Foods), the inspiration of his music and others’ on him and every other peripheral in his life during this journey by following the links below.

Thank you for sharing your story! I saw it tonight on News Channel 5. I look forward to keeping up with your progress with your new treatment. My daughter has struggled for years with OCD’s and many ticks. Several years ago she quit her medications (that she felt were controlling her life) and we went to Florida for counseling and training on how to handle it without medications. She still has issues, not as many as before but she is better equipped now.

I will be praying for you and the Neuro-Training that you are fixing to start. You are a strong and determined young man and I know you will do well.

    Good luck!
